still cooling but blow on floor and not through the vents; but sometime will blow through the vent but just briefly

In this case you are looking for a vacuum leak. The vent doors are actuated by vacuum. If it is too low, it won't switch air flow direction. Check under the dash and the hood for leaks. Sometimes, you will hear a hissing sound with the engine running from the area that is leaking.
