2006 Mercury Marquis squeaking noise in front end

2006 Mercury Marquis V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

the bushings are squeaking in the front end. does that mean they are wearing out? should they be replaced?

Hi:

chances are the noise is coming from the sway bar bushings. when they get old and dry, the can squeak. Have a mechanic check for safety reasons, but they still should be safe to drive with.
