2004 Mercury Marquis WINDSHIELD WASHER/WIPER MOTOR

The washer/wiper started coming on by itself yesterday. If I turn the wiper knob control to low or high and shut it off it will turn off. But later the washer/wiper will come back on by themselves again.

Sounds like a momentary short in the multifunction switch. You should replaced you turnsignal /winshield wiper switch
