2001 Mercury Marquis V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

how do you remove the emergency brake cable to get rotor off? the caplier is dual piston and emergency brakes works fine just can't get the cable off to remove the rotor

Follow the cables back and you will find the adjuster to back off the tension.
