2001 Mercury Marquis Blowing only hot air

My A/C was working perfect when I shut my car off on Friday. On Saturday morning I started it and the A/C only blew hot air. I added more freon (maybe to much) and still it just blows hot. What can it be?

When you trun the A/C on,do you hear the clutch engage the compressor-if so check if the air blend door is stuck on the heat position.
