I have a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis in almost perfect condition. Recently the a/c function stopped working. I took it to a shop to see if i had a leak and the problem had worsened. At first it was blowing hot air but now its not blowing at all.I was told that the computer is not relaying the message when i press the button to turn it on on any setting. Do I need a new Blower Motor or what?

The only way to be sure is two ways. One, check to see if the motor is getting power. IF it is, chances are the motor is bad. Two, run a direct power supply to the motor to see if it is working.

Try that and let me know what you find.
