Temp Gauge sometimes move imediately to hot after running a few mins, After shutting off motor and restarting couple of time it does not read hot. It is not slow to get to hot but imediately goes there

suspect faulty engine coolant temperature sender located on the top right front of the engine, near fuel injector #1 .
