Heater problem
1999 Mercury Marquis V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

The car was running great and the Climate Control Sys was working fine. Switched off and went into the store for five minutes and when the car was cranked it just poured HOT AIR from the registers. We took it to our mechanic who said the HEATER CONTROL VALVE was bad. He replaced it but the problem was not fixed so he replaced the CONTROL MODULE on the dash. It is still not fixed. Even with the AIR CONDITIONER on the air doesn't cool down like it should because the HEATER VALVE is apparently still open. He doesn't know and I don't know what else to do. Please help.

Have him check the blend door. It may be sticking.
