Replaced O2 sensor Bank 1, #2. Reset. After 100 mile drive and 2-3 on cycles problem came back. Reset again and problem comes back. Checked pigtail and connector and cleaned with alcohol. After 4-5 on cycles, same code. Measured the heater resistance in the disconnected sensor; book says 6 ohms, actual 3.3 ohms. Could a low resistance value cause this code and therefore my "new" sensor be defective?

I would say yes, It is the heated circuit monitoring code. Just for the h e l l of it, check your old one too, see what the resistance is on that one.

Measured resistance of new sensor in store: 3.3 Ohms, same as sensor in the car. Did not purchase. Measured two old sensors: 6.0, 5.9 ohms. Rockauto has Bosch P/N 13133; AutoZone 15717(3.3 ohms). What gives?
