Engine Mechanical problem
1992 Mercury Marquis V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic
My engine is Ticking from the top of the motor towards the front of the engine I was told it might be the lifters but me and a buddy took the Valve cover off and all the lifters seem to be working they are all pulling oil up. The ticking gets louder when you press on the gas pedal I was told another problem might be the push rods. I got the car from my mother as a gift and she didn't really take good care of it keeping oil in it. I know it wouldn't hurt to do a tune up to it but i was just wondering if you could help me out and point in a some kind of direction thanks
