2002 Mercury Cougar Car will not idle

2002 Mercury Cougar

The car was working fine.I Parked the car went to run an errand and came back to start the car and it would not stay running. It would start but then it would die. I had it towed to the shop, they got it started. The mechanic said they can not find anything wrong with it. They even drove it...

Very concerned...

Very possible to be the IAC valve
ask if they cleaned it or was checked
check for vacuum leak
