My check engine light has been on for a while, and after having codes pulled (don't recall specifics) it pointed to the EGR valve, guidance here led me to the sensor as a likely culprit (plus it was cheaper than the valve). I have the part in hand, and think I have located the old one for removal. However, it is in a horrible location and with no obvious hardware I would like some guidance on removal before just attempting to pull it out.

There are two screws that hold this in place, so I am going to attach the process from the manual on how to do this.

Any time we suspect we have an issue with this, we need to confirm this by checking for codes and then testing the EGR.

I am attaching the testing process as well on how to do this.

Please run through all this info and let me know what questions you have.

Thanks
