Engine Performance problem
2000 Mercury Cougar 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 149xxx miles

Hello--

My mechanic told me recently that my o2 was out in my car, triggering my "check engine" light. I recently purchased a o2 sensor and was wondering if this was a job I could easily do, or if I just needed to take it to my mechanic. I recently changed my brakes, caliphers, and roters with a lil help from the internet.. and figured I might be able to do this myself as well.
Thanks

It is on the exhaust. It is something you can do yourself. If you have questions, let me know.
