2000 Mercury Cougar 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

some times wen i drive my car it will turn off on me when i get to a stop light. then ill just started igain ad it will start just fine why do you think it turns off on me?

Could be the idle air control valve, EGR valve, throttle position sensor and mass airflow sensor
