There is a cover protecting the light-bulbs/wiring, but you have to take off the headlamp assembly first- there's 4 screws: one top left, two top right (one's vert, one's horizontal), and one in the engine bay to the left. once those are out, it's just a matter of manouvering the thing out; forward and up over the bumper- watch it doesn't get caught on the centre 'grill' or plug in cord (if you have one). the lights are located on the back behind a shield held on by a steel bracket... enjoy
