My oil light is on in my car. I replaced the oil pressure switch and the light is still on. I went to a buddies house who had a car scanner and we scanned it but it did not find anything wrong. i do not know how to make the light go away.

Hi there,

The first thing to do is get the engine oil pressure tested wit a master gauge, this will give you a true indication as to ether oil pressure and this will tell us if you have a mechanical or electrical problem.
