1996 Mercury Cougar no turn,flasher or brake lights

1996 Mercury Cougar V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

what would cause all of these at once? there is also a slight buzzer noise around the headlight switch.

most likely culprit would be faulty turn signal switch. the brake light circuit as well as the others mentioned all run through the signal switch..
