My wife has a 1992 Mercury Cougar 3.8L FI.
It's been dying sometimes when at a stop/idle, and occasionally when it dies it's hard to restart after it dies (20 min wait required before it starts). I did the diagnostic computer test and the code that came up was #327, which is: (1) EGR Valve postion circuit below min voltage, and (2) EVP/EPT circuit below min voltage. What do you recommend is needed?
Thanks! J. Mike

First you must fix the low voltage problem for the EVP/EPT , this sensor would burn out and cause the engine stall, please disconnect this sensor when the engine with not start. This sensor is silver or black with an electrical connector and 2 small tubes. Please let me know
