Sometimes it works and most times it doesn't. It is also the case with my 1995 Ford Taurus.

need to remove door panel and inspect wiring at the window motor and switch. if wiring is good than either the motor or the switch is failing. when it doesn't work, can you hear the motor trying to operate?
