1979 Mercury Cougar how do i fix

My 79cougar suddenly died while driving wasn't. Getting. Any spark I replaced the coil and coil module. Still. No spark from coil at all what could it be?

Inspect and test the distibutor pick-up coil -make sure you're getting power to the coil from the ignition switch
