how to replace distributor on a comet

take the distributor cap off, remove the one wire from the coil. Unbolt the clamp on the block that holds the distributor in. Mark where your rotor is pointing with a piece of chalk on block or nearest part. pull distributor out and replace putting the rotor back to chalk mark. Reassemble and check timinig.
