1961 Mercury Comet 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i have a 1960 comet. i was getting no fire so i changed the coil. new wires, distrubeter everything. there is still no fire coming from coil. checked ground and power, all good. any suggestions

Maybe shorted condensor recommend replaceing points and condensor. If good with dist cap off crank is there spark across points?

Also check the resistance wire between coil positive terminal and ignition switch to include gapping the contact point or use a dwell meter
