the alarm has suddenly started to go off for no reason The car battery was replaced a few months back Could new battery have developed a fault?

A common issue with this model is in the AAM control module which controls the alarm system. Often times when the alarm starts to go off by itslef it is due to a programing malfuntion in the particular control unit. Usually replacment of this unit is necessary to remedy this fault.
