Try lubricating lock cylinder with WD40 or other light oil. Other tips for this common problem may be found at the following link..

You may be experiencing a failed ignition switch. A pretty common occurance on this model. Also if your steering wheel is locked solid (no movement at all) you may have a frozen steering wheel lock. This also will inhibit your key from moving in the ignition tumbler.
