1999 Mercedes Benz SL500 soft top

HELP. I cant get my roll bar to go down or my soft top to extend.

I tried to put the hard top on and didnt have all the things in place, like doors open, brake on, ect and it seems like it lock my system or something.

It will still start and drive.

(Im not sure of the engine size)

If you believe the system has locked up then try disconnecting the negative cable from your battery and leave it off for at least 10 minutes. This will reset your vehicles computer system. (Note: The computer system may have to be relearned after this. Relearning the system usually just takes a few drives around the block.)
