Hi there,

This is very complex and there is a number of special tools required, the actual alignment at TDC, is match marks on the chain links and a match mark on the cam gear, but to replace the chain, you must use special tools to break the chain, join the new chain to the old one, holding tension on the chain at all times, turn the engine over by hand and wind on the new chain, then re join the chain links, if you want to do this i would not try it un less you have a work shop manual and the special tooling, as if you do not get this correct first time you will destroy the engine.
