1995 Mercedes Benz S500 stalling

Vehicle sputters and stalls at stops, or even gives poor performance while at higher speeds. No one seems to know what is ailing this money pit of a car. Love the car, hate the fact even MB mechanics cannot diagnose the problem after $6000 of probably guessing and unneeded repairs. Nice car, but ready to junk it... Any suggestions? TY

If it has not been checked, you may want to consider your crankshaft position sensor. This will cause stalling problems and is often times overlooked by many techs.
