replaced all pads warning still shows up that they need attention

There is nothing to reset. If sensors and pads were replaced and light is still on then you have a short to ground somewhere.

If you didn't replace the wear sensors with the new brake pads, or if you used aftermarket brade pads without the place for the sensor to read than the light will remain on as well.
