1995 Mercedes Benz S320 slips in reverse now

Transmission problem
1995 Mercedes Benz S320 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
The transmission works fine in all forward gears BUT in reverse it as if it has no reverse gear and slips to point of almost not backing up at all

Sounds like the trans is on its way out. Have you had it serviced? might be worth a try, but slipping in reverse usually isnt a good sign
