UV/Dye Test Vs Electronic Leak Tester

well , i am so much confused about the differences between both methods .. i have full idea how the dye test works ,, but i mess how the electronic leak tester works .... i wonder if someone could explain a bit for me about that electronic device . coz the dye test one is costy for the long run ..

Are you asking how much to buy an electronic detector? They cost more than the glasses and uv light does...
