I have a 1989 300E Mercedes with 110,000 miles, it has developed a hard shift or jerk to the right as it shifts from first to second and slightly from second to third. This appears to be in the rear end, maybe a differential mount of some sort. Have you heard of this before and if so what might the problem be and how hard is it to perform the fix myself?
