First time owner of a Mercedes Benz (s-320 series) 1996. I don't know where the spark plugs are located. Could you please tell me exactly where they are located. Next to, on side of, underneath, please help where are they? I know they're there. Lost and totally dumb-founded.

1996 S320 is a short body "S" with a 104 dual overhead cam engine. The spark plugs are in the center of the valve cover. This is covered by black trim thak has a few trim screws to hold it on. I must caution you about replacing the spark plugs because it's kind of tight in there and plastic coated tolls are normally used to remove the plug connectors.
