how to check fuel pressure on 1986 mercedes

Our car will start, but will not stay started. I have read some of your other customers problems, and this may have accoured in this car.Would you know what other things I should look at. Please help, Im stranded in Miami Flordia and need to get home quick. Thanks so much.

How long does the car run for before dieing, and does it fire right back up after it dies out. if it does not fire right back up after it dies, use starting fluid if it fires right up then it is fuel related, and you should change the filter. if that does not remedy it check for 12v at fuel pump, if you have 12v at fuel pump but no fuel coming out, replace the pump.

if it does not start up with starting fluid then it is electric. post back
