heater problems

i own a 1985 mercedes 500 sel V8 with a 5.0 in it. i am having troubles with my heater and i was told there is a reset switch some where under the hood i was wondering if this is true and if so where is it at

I have a 1985 300dt and the heat will only work when the car is parked. As soon as I start driving, the heat turns to cold air. If you find a solution, please let me know. thanks.
