Dash board idiot lights

Hello. I just purchased a 1989 mercedes 190e, 2.6. It did not have a manual.
on the dash board next to the emergency brake light there is a light that just went on. It's a circle with 3 lines on each side. I have no idea what it's trying to tell me is wrong. Can you help me please?

I have a 98 c230 and in the owners manual under the cluster display, there is a amber warning light that looks like ?O?

It is the "brake pads worn down" indicator. Hope this helps
