parking brake warning comes on randomly

This may be caused by one of two things. Your parking brake sensor may be having internmittent failures, or your parking brake cables may be actually hanging up. Being that the vehicle is so new I would be suprised if the cables were worn enough to begin hanging. This usually occurs more on old MB models.
