Brakes problem
2006 Other Mercedes Benz Models 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 45ooo miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have just put my car in for a d type service and been advised that my front and rear discs require replacement as well as the pads the mileage is only 45000 and I find this hard to accept, any other model of car that I have owned only ever required pads? when I question the service manager I was informed that the pads and discs require replacement ever 25000 miles, as this vechicle was purchased from new 2years passed December I am of the opinion that this should be under warranty can anyone give me advice so I can have a meaningful discussion with the mercedes dealership?

MB brakes and rotors do wear more quickly than others because they are softer compounds that allow for better braking. The trade off is the life of the rotors and pads tends to be shorter than other manufacturers.
