I have a 2003 E320. How do you relieve the belt tension?

I have a 2003 E320. How do you relieve the belt tension?

The belt tensioner is listed on the diagram below. There will be a center bolt you can put a ratchet on and turn anti clockwise to relieve the tension. There may also be a 17mm socket casting on the tensioner that you can do the same motion with on some models.
