What does it mean when it says Battery Protection Conventional Function Temporarily Unavailable?

This means the battery has discharged enough that the accessories of the vehicle cannot be run until the car runs enough to recharge the battery. After the vehicle runs a while this will go off. Howeer you may want to have your battery checked as this is an indication that it may be ready for a new one.
