How does the the engine cover panel which holds the air filters on a 2002 E55 come off??

The engine cover simply pulls off. It will feel tight but you simply grab the rear of the cover with both hands and pull up. The front and rear are two pieces so once you pop up the back grab the sides near the fron and pull the front up. When you reinstall it place the cover on the mounts and press down firmly.
