1999 Other Mercedes Benz Models Brake light

My car brake lights come on and stay on. I can move the pedal and they will go off for a minute then come back on. I've checked the fluid and i don't really know what else to do. If anybody has an answer please let me now.

If you're refering to the lights at the back and not at the dash do below-

Replace the brake switch then adjust it properly. The parking brake or a low level brake fluid will not turn on the brake lights at the back-its a different circuit-
