I have a 1998 Mercedes E320 with 210,000 miles. The check engine light is on. Took it in to the dealership and they reported that the sensor light is broken & needs replacing to the tune of $1000. There is nothing wrong with the engine & if I do not repair the sensor light I will not be able to tell when there is a problem with the engine. Not so sure if the car if worth repairing. Any suggestions on repairing the sensor for less $.
