Engine Performance problem
1998 Other Mercedes Benz Models 50000 miles

Dear 2carpros team

The vehicle is a Mercedes Benz G290 TD. The 2900 cc diesel engine has a problem with injection start control or delivery start control. The trouble code is P1351. I believe the problem could be the lift needle sensor but cant find information

that sounds to me like the turn on and shut off switch located on the pump, make sure there is power going to it when you turn your key on.
