1988 Other Mercedes Benz Models 6 cyl 215000 miles

Do I need to buy a battery specifically for a Mercedes 300E, or can I purchase any battery suitable for the engine size?? I fear that I have to pay so much more for a battery for my car than I have in the past with my other vehicles judging by online pricing for this model!!

Hi there,

You will need the D.I.N series battery as used in many European cars, these have lower terminals than other batteries and are required as a conventional battery may short out on the bonnet if fitted.
