The recirculate switch will not have anything to do with if it blows hot or cold. It is just resh air compared to recycled air. You may have a sticking blend door if the car was lowing cold before and not now. Can you hear the compressor turn on when u turn the a/c on?

If you dont hear the compressor turning on then you may have a mre serious problem. I dont know if you really want to start charging your benz but that is gong to be the ext step. I need to know some readings when u hook up guages to the truck.
