My truch seems to squeal with a noise that sounds very similiar to scratching glass whenever i turn my steering wheel in either direction. This also occurs when i go over large bumps so i suspect that it also has to do with the suspension. I am wondering what could be wrong, where do i point the mechanic to quickly diagnose and fix and lastly what the approximate expected cost might be to budget for?

Thanks very much,
Sean

If you are hearing squeaking over bumps this is definately a suspension issue. This will more than likely involve a worn suspension bushing or sway bar bushing. If you are concerned about your mechanic finding the issue perhaps you could request for them to ride with you so you can duplicate the condition for them instead of them search ing for the issue. This often times clarifys the customer concern for the technician.
