2005 Mercedes Benz ML320 V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 20.000 miles

the drivers door will not lock, and locking knob will not stay down. door tries to lock but all i get is clicking sound from inside door pannel please help

Sounds like you have a failed door lock actuator. These will fail from time to time and will require replacement to repair the problem.
