2001 Mercedes Benz ML320

i recently replaced my battery in my ML320 and it reset the radio and i purchased the vehicle at carmax so i do not know the security code it is asking me for what should i do? is there a default code?

Hi there, there is no default code, i would contact a dealer and see if there is code recorded against the chassis or VIN No, failing this the radio will have a serial no that the manufacturer should have the code on file.

That answer is incorrect. There is a card that comes with the vehicle showing the code that is needed for the radio/music system. I know because I have one.

You may still have your PIN, but the question was about a default code which there is none, if the PIN is not known there is no general default code and the PIN must be retrieved from Benz as it will be stored in the master data base.
