I NEED A NEW COMPUTER ON MY MERCEDES. I WAS TOLD THAT I HAVE TO PURCHASE IT NEW...I WANT TO KNOW IF THIS IS TRUE? I WOULD RATHER GO TO THE JUNK YARD AND BUY AN OLD ONE.

Hi there,

A second hand ECU should be OK, but you will need to check the part No is the same, and be aware that the second hand unit may have faults of its own.
