2003 Mercedes Benz G500 missing and backfire during cold op

When the car is cold it misses and backfires under acceleration. But as soon as it reaches operating temperature the problem goes away.

Has it ever set a check engine light when it is running poorly?If so a scan of the PCM will point in the direction of what is wrong and with which cylinder.If not, you may wind up pulling plugs to visually inspect tehm to see if you can tell which cylinder is burning different
